Classic car exhibition in the historic center of Santiago de Compostela
Motorsport fans from different places will meet this month in the Galician capital to take part in the I concentration Compostela Monumental Historical Vehicles. Heritage Days to be held the next day 24 in the squares of the Obradoiro, Cervantes and Toural, and for which the term is now open for registration. The project, which comes at the initiative of merchants and entrepreneurs gathered in the old town Compostela Monumental Association, is organized by the Automobile Club de Galicia, an organization that hopes to raise “more than 50 historic and classic cars, which may be covered hours from 11.30 to 20.00 hours in the piazzas of the Obradoiro, Cervantes and Toural “as the organization sources said. In this sense, Juan Carlos Pérez Otero, president of the Automobile Club Galicia, said that “for us is a unique opportunity to gather in the historic capital of Galicia these vehicles with a high heritage value,” while he called the attention to the celebration of European Heritage Day, organized by the International Federation of Historic Vehicles, “which takes place,” he says, “in the historical capitals in Europe.” Read the rest of this entry »
